The Total number of vacancies for SSC GD is 26146 for various posts for males and females.

For Male

Physical Standard for SSC GD

For Males Height should be 170cm with a Chest of 80-85 cm for Gen/OBC/EWS and for ST height should be 162.5cm with a chest of 76-80cm. Both Categories should run 5 km in 24 minutes.

For Female Height should be 157cm for Gen/OBC/EWS and for ST height of 150cm. Both categories should run a distance of 1.6 km in 8.5 minutes.

Selection process for SSC GD

The selection process of SSC GD begins with Computer Based Test(CBT). The qualified candidates will go for the Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Measurement Test and Document verifications will be held after that and Medical Test. Training will be conducted in various training centers and Selected candidates can select their force(BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, AR, and SSF) according to their performance.
